Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while supporting clients in a comfortable, home-like environment. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of those under your care, fostering independence and dignity every step of the way. Your energetic approach and proactive attitude will make a positive impact on the lives of your clients, helping them thrive at home. Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes in condition Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and hospice care Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheter care supplies, and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and health standards are met Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality while managing medical documentation Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly valued Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information Ability to assist with complex medical procedures including catheter care and hospice support Strong communication skills with the ability to observe patient conditions meticulously and report findings clearly Flexibility to work live-in shifts that may include overnight responsibilities and extended hours Join us as a Live-In Caregiver where your energy fuels compassionate care!
