Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, attentive assistance to clients within their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality care will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for every day. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with memory care needs, ensuring they receive the highest standard of personalized support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, reporting changes in condition, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required. Medication Reminders Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in social activities to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment. Provides respite or relief care for family members. Transportation for errands or doctors appointments. Qualifications Proven experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred. Certifications such as CPR and First Aid; additional training in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or hospice care is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's . Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments is advantageous. Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude to provide direct support tailored to each client's needs. Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
