Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Resident Assistant Caregiver in an Assisted Living and Memory Care environment, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role offers an engaging opportunity to provide personalized support, promote independence, and foster a warm, safe community. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and ensure their comfort and well-being are prioritized every day. ALL SHIFTS OPEN- FULL AND PART TIME AVAILBLE
Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor vital signs regularly and observe for any changes in health or behavior that may require intervention Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging environment Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring nutritional needs are met while maintaining cleanliness in common areas Implement behavior management techniques for residents with dementia or developmental disabilities to promote safety and comfort Maintain a clean, safe living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident rooms and common areas Document incidents, resident progress, and care activities thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations Support residents during outings or appointments by providing transportation if required, adhering to all safety protocols Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training is encouraged Ability to accurately monitor vital signs and recognize signs of health deterioration Experience with medication administration and understanding of EMR systems is advantageous Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate care. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
