Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Dementia Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to seniors with dementia in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with families and the caregiving team to help enhance the quality of life for our clients. You will have the flexibility to work varying shifts throughout the week and weekends, ensuring personalized attention and care for each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one care and assistance to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the caregiving team. Collaborate with family members to understand clients' preferences and needs, ensuring personalized support.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field, particularly with dementia patients. Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include varying shifts throughout the week, including weekends.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Belmont, North Carolina.
