About Us Amada Senior Care Cary is a locally owned, non-medical home care agency dedicated to helping seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We're licensed by the NC Division of Health Service Regulation (DHSR #HC8332) and known for treating our caregivers like family. About the Role We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive, non-medical support for a client requiring assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in senior care and brings warmth, patience, and attentiveness to everything they do. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while enjoying stable, live-in work with room and board provided. Duties Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication reminders and help track schedules (non-medical — no administration of medications) Observe and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the care team and family Provide companionship and support for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other memory care needs using patience and gentle redirection techniques Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social connection Provide transportation to appointments and errands (if applicable) Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the care team to ensure coordinated care Follow safe transfer and mobility-assistance techniques to protect both client and caregiver Qualifications Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, or home care strongly preferred Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Physically able to assist with transfers and mobility support Patient, reliable, and compassionate, with strong communication skills Must meet NC caregiver registry requirements (HCPR, Nurse Aide I Registry) What We Offer Room and board included Competitive live-in pay structure with overtime as applicable Ongoing training and support from our care team A supportive, family-oriented agency culture Opportunity for consistent, long-term placement How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed.
