Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in their homes or residential facilities.
Duties:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Help with medication reminders and appointment scheduling
  • Assist with mobility, including transferring and lifting clients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Be on time for visits and professional
Qualifications:
  • Experience in senior care or related fields such as nursing or social work is preferred
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, resident rights, and patient care best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
  • Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (e.g., assisting with transfers, repositioning, mobility support). Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods during a shift. Ability to safely assist clients with mobility devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, gait belts, and transfer boards. Ability to perform repetitive motions such as cleaning, meal prep, and personal care tasks. Ability to support clients during transfers from bed to chair, chair to toilet, and in/out of vehicles. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including supporting a client who is losing balance. Ability to tolerate exposure to household cleaning products and normal home‑care environmental conditions. Ability to work in various home environments, including homes with stairs, pets, or limited space. Ability to use hands and arms for fine motor tasks, such as grooming, bathing assistance, and medication reminders.
