  • $4,000 a month 1 day ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Paid orientation Safety equipment provided Referral program Qualifications CPR Certification First aid High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Full Job Description The Live-In Couple Direct Service Provider provides direct supervision, support, observation, and assistance to residents in a supervised living home.
The role helps maintain a safe, structured, respectful, and recovery-oriented home environment and supports residents with daily routines, independent living skills, behavior support, community participation, and implementation of individualized service approaches. This position is a live-in residential support role. The employee resides on site and provides scheduled active duty coverage while coordinating handoff with awake night staff and other assigned personnel. Duties must be performed in accordance with facility policy, resident rights, confidentiality rules, medication procedures, incident reporting expectations, and staff supervision requirements. Facilities must pay at least minimum wage for all hours worked and overtime for hours over 40 in a workweek unless an exemption applies. Essential duties and responsibilitiesResident supervision and support Supervise residents in the home and community during assigned duty hours. Monitor resident safety, mood, behavior, participation, and general functioning. Support daily living routines, structure, and recovery-oriented household expectations. Encourage treatment participation, appointments, medication follow-up, and appropriate community inclusion. Daily living and household support Assist residents with routines related to hygiene, meals, laundry, housekeeping, and room upkeep as appropriate. Help maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and welcoming home environment. Reinforce house expectations, boundaries, and respectful interactions. Documentation and communication Complete shift notes, communication logs, incident reports, and required house forms. Communicate resident concerns, behavior changes, medication issues, and follow-up needs to the next shift and supervisors. Participate in required shift handoff with awake night staff at 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM . Safety and emergency response Respond appropriately to incidents, conflicts, behavioral crises, and emergencies according to facility policy. Participate in fire drills, disaster drills, and emergency preparedness activities. Remain on duty until properly relieved by the incoming staff member. Medication and follow-through Perform medication-related tasks only if trained, authorized, and assigned under facility policy. Promptly report missed doses, refusals, side effects, or medication concerns. Minimum qualifications At least 18 years of age Able to read, write, understand, and follow directions High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in behavioral health, residential care, direct support, or human services preferred Current CPR, first aid, seizure-response, and airway-obstruction training preferred Valid driver's license preferred if transportation is assigned Schedule expectations Day coverage: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Person A standard shift: 6:00 AM
  • 2:00 PM Person B standard shift: 2:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM Weekend alternating extended shift: 6:00 AM
  • 10:00 PM Required handoff times: 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM Employee may not leave duty until relief staff is physically present and report is completed
