This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with cognitive disabilities, and individuals requiring long-term care. You will be the cornerstone of daily support, ensuring residents' safety, comfort, and well-being through attentive caregiving and assistance with daily activities. All positions are paid roles, including internships, emphasizing our dedication to valuing every team member. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents with medication administration following proper protocols and safety standards Monitor and record vital signs to track health status and communicate changes to healthcare professionals Operate manual handling equipment safely for resident transfers and heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safe patient lifting practices Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces Skills Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and healthcare teams Proficiency in group home or residential care home settings is advantageous Capable of performing heavy lifting and manual handling safely while supporting residents' mobility needs Certified in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications in safe patient lifting practices are a plus Experience working with seniors or in retirement homes enhances your ability to deliver empathetic support Familiarity with home & community care services and client communication techniques Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued and cared for.
