Weekend PRN Personal Care Attendant (PCA) SYNERGY HomeCare of Conover
PRN Weekend Position:
To be considered, applicants must have flexible weekend availability and be able to accept day, mid-shift, evening, and overnight assignments based on client needs. SYNERGY HomeCare of Conover is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide care and support to clients in the comfort of their homes on a PRN (as-needed) basis during weekends.
Pay:
$16.50-$18.50 per hour Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, availability, and level of care provided.

Flexible PRN weekend scheduling Direct deposit Paid orientation and ongoing training Time-and-a-half pay for overtime and designated holidays Supportive office staff and RN oversight Caregiver-client matching based on skills, experience, and location Employee recognition and appreciation programs Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping Provide medication reminders Assist with errands, transportation, and community outings as assigned Observe and report changes in client condition Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff Deliver reliable, compassionate, and person-centered care Qualifications Compassionate, dependable, and professional Ability to work independently in clients' homes Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Previous caregiving, PCA, CNA, or home care experience preferred Must successfully pass a background check Weekend availability required
Important Note:
While CNA certification is welcomed and valued, this position is for non-medical home care services. Caregivers, including CNAs, will perform non-medical duties in accordance with the client's care plan and North Carolina home care regulations. Responsibilities may include personal care assistance, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, transportation, and medication reminders. No skilled nursing services or medical procedures are performed in this role.
