Join a Nationally Accredited Residential Program A nationally accredited Level III Residential Treatment Facility is seeking reliable, professional, and dependable staff to work with adolescent males ages 11-18 in a structured therapeutic environment. We are looking for individuals who can provide supervision, structure, accountability, and support while helping maintain a safe and positive residential setting for youth with behavioral and emotional needs. Position Overview Direct Care Staff are responsible for supervising and supporting adolescent males within a structured residential setting. Staff must maintain safety, routines, accountability, and behavioral expectations at all times. This position requires maturity, patience, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while following program policies, supervision requirements, and documentation standards. What You'll Do As a Direct Care Staff member, you will help create a structured and supportive environment for youth by: Maintaining active supervision and safety Assisting with daily routines and life skills Supporting behavioral expectations and accountability Providing guidance, structure, and redirection Completing documentation and shift reports Supporting recreational activities and community outings Helping youth develop positive coping and social skills You will play an important role in helping residents maintain stability, structure, and progress. Key Responsibilities Provide continuous supervision (line-of-sight/sound) Maintain safety and structure at all times Assist with: Meals Hygiene Chores Recreation and activities Implement behavioral interventions and redirection Complete all required documentation each shift Transport residents when assigned Maintain professionalism and accountability Run shifts independently once trained Communication & Professional Coordination Staff may communicate professionally with: DSS State agencies LME/MCOs Insurance providers including Healthy Blue NC
  • BCBS Responsibilities may also include: Assisting with referrals and authorizations Supporting compliance requirements Maintaining documentation for audits and reviews Providing resident updates and progress information Support Staff (Assisting Group Home Manager)
  • Pay Negotiable This is a support role only and is NOT a management position.
Support Staff assist the Group Home Manager with daily operational and organizational responsibilities within the residential program.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with staff coordination and communication Supporting day-to-day residential operations Assisting with documentation review and organization Helping maintain compliance and program standards Assisting with schedules, appointments, and transportation coordination Supporting household operations and structure Providing supervision support when needed This role may also involve: Professional communication with DSS, agencies, providers, and staff Assisting with referrals, authorizations, and required documentation Supporting records needed for audits, billing, and compliance reviews Ideal candidates are: Organized Dependable Professional Able to multitask in a structured environment Preferred qualifications may include: Experience in behavioral health or residential settings Leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of documentation and compliance standards AP/QP status preferred for some responsibilities Pay is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, reliability, availability, and assigned responsibilities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Experience with adolescents, behavioral health, or residential care preferred Must pass background check and drug screening Valid driver's license preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to remain calm, alert, dependable, and professional during shifts NC Professional Levels Paraprofessional (PP): High School Diploma AP/QP Preferred for
