You will play a vital part in supporting residents' daily needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity are prioritized every step of the way. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and well-being Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures Provide compassionate dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care tailored to individual needs while managing behaviors effectively Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, maintaining dietary guidelines and resident preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Skills Prior assisted living or nursing home experience demonstrating familiarity with senior care environments Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia, including Alzheimer's and memory care techniques Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation and resident tracking Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and Hoyer lift operation safely Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; ongoing commitment to safety standards in healthcare settings Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued!
