Job Description
We ate seeking a live-in caregiver to work with one other person to care for an elderly, bed bound male. He is currently on hospice service and has a nurse twice a week to handle wound care and medication needs plus a C.N.A Mon-Fri to help with bathing. We are looking for someone to cook and help keep the house clean while providing basic daily living services for the patient. Room and board will be provided, along with utilities. You will have your own bedroom. This position requires a kind, patient person that understands the mental and emotional needs of an elderly person. Great opportunity for someone going to school online and is looking for a job that you would still be able to do class work. No smoking in the house and we will do a drug screening with random drug testing possible. Previous experience with helping the elderly or hospice patients would be a great addition but not necessary. Most of us has cared for a loved one or someone before. The most important thing is being a caring, patient person that will help the patient.
