Job Description

930pm-930am Monday-Sunday shifts available We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients while promoting their independence and quality of life. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and free from hazards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each client's needs. Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in condition to family members or healthcare providers. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies to enhance their well-being. Skills Strong background in emergency medicine or experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. Familiarity with medical-surgical practices and hospital medicine is beneficial. Experience in outpatient settings or with pediatric intensive care units (PICU) is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting the dignity and privacy of clients. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality care delivery. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development within the caregiving field. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
