Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. 20 Hours a week, 5 hours a day Monday-Friday in the Waynesville Area.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in healthcare settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or medical-surgical units
  • Knowledge of emergency medicine procedures and protocols
  • Familiarity with caring for individuals in Level I Trauma Centers or PICU settings
  • Ability to provide care in a compassionate and respectful manner
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
