Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. 20 Hours a week, 5 hours a day Monday-Friday in the Waynesville Area.Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
Requirements:
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or medical-surgical units
- Knowledge of emergency medicine procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with caring for individuals in Level I Trauma Centers or PICU settings
- Ability to provide care in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
