Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring assistance with daily activities. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of your clients while fostering a supportive environment. We are hiring part-time and full-time caregivers for the Day shift and Evening shift hours vary between 7am-4pm & 3pm-11pm. We have 4,6,8,10,12,14 hour shifts available. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist with mobility as needed to ensure client safety. Monitor patients' health by observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior to the nurse. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Support clients with memory care techniques for those experiencing cognitive decline. Assist with medication reminders and basic housekeeping tasks as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, working with clients with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques is a plus. Ability to perform tasks safely and effectively. Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Must be reliable, patient, and possess a genuine desire to help others. Ability to be flexible based on client needs. Must be able to pass a background study. Must have a valid driver's license and willing to use your own car for transportation. Must be 18 years of age or older.
