This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, with experience in various care settings, including home health, assisted living, and memory care. Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition. Medications reminder Assist with care plans. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients through regular cleaning and organization. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Assist clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Observe patients for any changes in behavior or health status and report findings to appropriate healthcare professionals. Support individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia through specialized care techniques. Skills Proficient in First Aid and CPR certification. Experience working in group homes or nursing homes is preferred. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Familiarity with home & community care practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Experience in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary restrictions. Understanding of caregiving principles for seniors, including memory care techniques. Capability to develop and follow individualized care plans effectively. Previous experience working with individuals who have autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus. This role requires a compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional support to clients.
