The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the intellectual and emotional growth of each child ages 6 months to 18 months old. Assist our Lead Teacher in creating hands-on activities, diaper changing, feedings, nap time and cleaning as well as collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's development. Responsibilities Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assist with creating hands-on activities that align with early childhood education standards. Assist with feeding and regularly changing diapers to maintain hygiene. Keeping the classroom, materials and toys clean and safe for all children, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained. Keeping track of each infant's progress, including feeding schedules, diaper changes and nap times. Develop and maintain open, positive communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being. Work as a team with our Lead Teacher to promote a positive and nurturing environment. Qualifications High School Diploma is required. Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate Credential is preferred. 2-4 years of experience in an infant or toddler care setting is required. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Must have patience, empathy and a love for working with children. Ability to collaborate with parents and coworkers. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of Early Childhood Development principles and practices.
