We believe in making a difference in every life we touch, and we're looking for a dedicated, experienced caregiver to join our team for a daily evening case.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced caregiver with a strong background in Alzheimer's and dementia care. This role is centered around providing evening support, every day, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, ensuring a safe, calm, and supportive environment for the client. As a key member of the care team, you will assist with personal care, daily activities, medication reminders, and emotional support during the evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, personalized care for a dementia/Alzheimer's patient. Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, and mobility). Monitor and document changes in behavior or condition. Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to reduce agitation and promote comfort. Ensure a safe environment and respond promptly to any needs or emergencies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Alzheimer's or dementia care. Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor. Strong communication skills and ability to de-escalate situations. Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and dependability. Certification as a CNA, HHA, or related field is preferred but not required.
