Role Overview:
As a Part Time Evening Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Edison, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. Working on-site, you'll have the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting individuals in maintaining their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized assistance to clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior to the care team. Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping as needed. Maintain open and compassionate communication with clients and their families. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure continuity of care and meet individual client needs.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation for commuting to client locations.
Bonus If You:
Have certifications such as CPR or First Aid training. Speak additional languages, enhancing communication with clients.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position with availability throughout the week, including Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Edison, New Jersey, so we're looking for candidates who can work in this area.
