Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support based on each individual's goals and preferences. Assist individuals in developing daily living, social, and community participation skills. Support participation in recreational activities, appointments, employment, volunteer opportunities, and community outings. Encourage independence while respecting each person's choices and dignity. Complete documentation accurately and on time. Maintain open communication with supervisors, families, and members of the support team. Follow all New Jersey DDD policies and company standards to ensure safe, high-quality services. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role Dependable—you do what you say you'll do. Comfortable working independently while knowing support is always available. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance. Ability to pass all required background checks. Ability to complete New Jersey DDD-required training. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour Mileage reimbursement for approved work-related travel Mileage reimbursement is provided only for travel while transporting the client during scheduled service hours. Commuting to and from the client's location is not reimbursable.
