Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as an Infant and Toddler Caregiver, where your passion for nurturing young children will help shape their earliest developmental experiences. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, loving care to infants and toddlers, fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment. Your expertise in early childhood development and classroom management will support children's growth, curiosity, and emotional well-being during their formative years. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners while working within a supportive team committed to excellence in childcare. Must be 18+ years old. Shift- 2pm-7pm Responsibilities Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering and comforting as needed Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards at all times Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones for ongoing assessment Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental updates Support classroom management by organizing materials, managing routines, and fostering positive behavior Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings with classroom experience in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities Proven ability in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting with a focus on infant and toddler care Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children to promote positive interactions Join us in creating a warm, stimulating environment where infants and toddlers can thrive! Pay:
$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
