Full Job Description Schedule:
Monday•Wednesday, 9:00 AM•1:30
PM Pay Rate:
$22.00 per hour
Job Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable in-home caregiver to provide personalized support for an individual with developmental disabilities. Staff must be reliable and attentive during shift. The individual requires assistance with morning ADLs prior to their scheduled daily medical procedure. The client is independent, but requires verbal reminders and promots to eat, shower, change, etc. Staff are required to assist with helping client into medical van to go to his scheduled appointment each morning. Staff must have a reliable vehicle for going into the community.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment. Support medication reminders or administration as directed. Assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care. Transport or accompany the client to appointments, errands, or community outings. Monitor and report any changes in health, behavior, or needs to the family or supervising staff. Qualifications Valid NJ Non-Probationar Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent CPR/FA certification if completed Minimum one year of experience working in a group home setting with those with developmental disabilities Must have own vehicle and valid car insurance to drive client into the community Heart to Heart is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
