Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Live-In Care Giver from Friday Evening to Monday Morning to provide exceptional support and assistance to an Elderly Man in a residential care setting. This role offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of the patient by delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence during the weekend. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a warm, respectful environment for the patient. Duties Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals, complete light housekeeping, and do laundry Support patient with mobility using appropriate patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transferring Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties Provide emotional support and engaging conversation Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response actions to ensure patients safety at all times Experience Prior caregiving experience or a CNA licensed is required Active CPR and First Aid certifications, plus a clean background check Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance techniques is preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications related to caregiving or nursing are a plus
