About Us:
Serenity Home Assisted Living is a small private residential home providing 24-hour care for our elderly residents. We are currently hiring for a weekend caregiver. If you are looking to work with a company who values the care you provide for your residents, we are what you are looking for. At Serenity Home Assisted Living, you will never have more than 7 residents to care for. All services are provided within the home, and no transportation or travel is required. We are looking for a caregiver or CNA that is committed to providing a safe, supportive, reliable, friendly service to care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Prepare and serve meals while monitoring dietary needs. Assist with medications and document care as directed. Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage residents in activities. Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to supervisors. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Experience in caregiving or a related field (preferred). Certification in caregiving, CNA, or equivalent (preferred). CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility. Dependable and trustworthy with a commitment to resident confidentiality.
