Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our clients in their daily lives. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring assistance. Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and ensuring the well-being of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health and safety. Respect and uphold resident rights while providing care. Implement care plans tailored to each client's individual needs. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Assist with mobility, including lifting or transferring clients as needed. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Skills Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding basic health indicators. Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to advocating for client dignity. Experience in caregiving or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with senior care practices and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Basic nursing skills are a plus, particularly in medication administration. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Physical capability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility needs. First aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
