Caregiver

Beehive Homes of Rio Rancho is currently looking for an experienced caregiver . We provide care for residents with various needs, including those who are able-bodied, wheelchair-bound, have dementia, diabetes, catheters, and residents on hospice. We care for individuals all the way through end-of-life care, so it's important for our staff to have empathy for our residents, their families, and co-workers. We have 3 locations in Rio Rancho and one in Bernalillo 204 Silent Springs Rd 2709 Chessman Dr 6336 Enchanted Hills Blvd 200

Sheriffs Posse Rd, Bernalillo Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Professional caregiving experience of at least 1 year (preferred)
• Pass a national background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Pass a medication technician test

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and confidentiality, including but not limited to:
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Transferring
• Toileting
• Continence Care
• Eating
• Monitor vital signs including temperature, respiration, blood pressure, and medication management
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Provide safety supervision
• Complete yearly training
• Basic computer skills
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards our residents, visitors, families, and staff.
