We are seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Community Caregivers to join our growing team. As a Community Caregiver, you will provide non-medical personal care and companionship services that help individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Whether assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those needing extra support at home, you will play an important role in helping our clients thrive in their communities. Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation, engagement, and meaningful interaction Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation while promoting client independence and safety Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming, organizing, and maintaining a clean living environment Assist with shopping, errands, and community outings as authorized Support clients with daily routines and encourage participation in activities that promote independence and well-being Provide reminders for medications, appointments, and daily schedules (no medication administration) Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or environment to the appropriate supervisor Maintain accurate documentation of services provided according to company policies Foster a respectful, positive, and client-centered environment that supports dignity, choice, and independence Qualifications Previous caregiving, home care, personal care attendant, direct support professional, or related experience preferred but not required Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with mobility Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to pass required background screenings and meet employment requirements CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training opportunities may be available) Experience supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those with developmental disabilities is a plus Why Join Rustic Health?
