SHIFT - PART TIME WEEKEND
Friday 2p-10p Saturday 2p-10p PAY $18.00 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Med Tech / Caregiver to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality resident care, assist with daily living activities, within a memory care, setting. Your expertise will help ensure residents receive respectful, personalized care that promotes their well-being and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals diverse needs, including those with dementia, or requiring hospice support. Responsibilities Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding. Administer medications following physician orders while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Document using electronic health record (EHR) systems with precision and compliance. Maintain a safe environment Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Provide compassionate emotional support to individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments in memory or Alzheimer's care settings Support residents in assisted living or hospice environments by delivering respectful, patient-centered care tailored to their unique needs. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, is highly preferred. Knowledge of specialized caregiving for individuals with neurological conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease is advantageous Proven ability to work effectively within a team. Previous roles involving medication administration, are highly desirable Demonstrated compassion and patience when caring for seniors with disabilities in diverse settings.
