The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, has a professional demeanor, reliable, flexible, and a problem solver.

Expected Outcomes:

1) Hire, train, schedule, and monitor caregiver staff to deliver quality care to ​ the residents. Help staff to be effective by informal counseling and forma​l​ performance reviews. 2) Resolve any concerns involving residents, families, staff and outside ​ ​ partners. Use Administrator as a resource as needed. 3) Maintain positive relationships with all residents and immediate family members. 4) Assist Administrator in maintaining regulatory compliance as evidenced ​ ​ by positive state survey results. 5) Maintain current and accurate resident records, including medication ​ ​ orders. 6) Seek and follow up on opportunities for further personal professional ​ ​ development in consultation with Administrator and owners. ​7) Support the mission of Bee Hive Homes and objectives of its owners.

Competencies:

1) Maintain professional appearance and behavior always while representing Bee Hive Homes. 2) Willingness and ability to model excellent caregiving skills. 3) Basic computer skills with email and such applications as Word, Excel, and BlueStep EMR. 4) Willingness and ability to model the Bee Hive Homes mission and values. The ideal candidate must be at least 18, have 1 year managerial experience, 1 year of assisted living or memory care experience, 2 years of caregiving experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. As you are expected to manage the day to day operations, you would be spending approximately half of your hours on the floor working as a universal worker. We are a smaller facility that does it all. Our intimate environment allows you to provide excellent care to our residents and foster our team. P A Y This is a salaried position that pays $44-49k per year not including overtime.

S H I F T

Your scheduled shift is Sunday - Thursday 8a - 4p, however some flexibility is required. You are in charge of staffing, so it is your responsibility to find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
