Job Description

Family is seeking a proficient, proactive, dependable, and compassionate caregiver for a13-year-old who requires constant care and supervision. Familiarity with profound autism is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should demonstrate composure, sound judgment, and adaptability in challenging situations. Additionally, they should possess a positive outlook, emotional intelligence, empathy, reliability, and organizational skills. A proactive approach to enhancing the child's well-being, willingness to learn new techniques, and support in academic and personal care tasks are essential. Physical activity and a love for outdoor pursuits are valued the child enjoys spending time outside. The caregiver must establish strong relational bonds, set clear boundaries, and commit long-term, ideally for a year or more, the previous caregiver who was with the family for ten years. The child is nonverbal but loves to learn and is very intelligent and the caregiver should encourage this and support his learning environment. Compensation $25 to $35 per hr Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 4:30/5:00pm Two cats in the home Long-term commitment is very important Clean driving record is a must
