Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated caregiving team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with diverse needs. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, attentive, and personalized care to promote growth, safety, and well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster development through engaging activities, nurturing support, and responsible caregiving practices. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive environment where those in your care feel valued, safe, and empowered. Duties Provide attentive care to child with developmental disabilities, age 7, supporting their physical and emotional needs. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual schedules. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and behavioral management. Support children's learning through teaching basic skills, engaging in play-based learning, and encouraging curiosity. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies. Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate progress, concerns, or special needs related to the child's care. Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in daycare or childcare settings. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and team members. Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting children's growth.
Pay:
$21.00 - $21.50 per hour
