Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitor and document patient health status by observing vital signs, changes in condition, and overall well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients with cognitive impairments like dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and patient engagement strategies Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social interaction and reduce feelings of isolation Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA regulations Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes; long-term care experience preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Ability to lift heavy objects safely Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia a plus.
