The Position :
We're looking for per diem caregivers. Pay starts at $18.65 per hour, plus opportunities for additional pay differentials.
The Organization:
Camphill Ghent, Inc. located in Chatham, NY opened in 2012 and provides independent and assistant living residence to 70 residents in an elder community setting. Why Should You Apply? Requirements:
Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred, but we will accept CNA/PCA applicants as well as anyone interested in working in the health care field. Prior experience working with elders is preferred. Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and to spend long periods of time walking/standing. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be in compliance with NYS Dept. of Health
COVID-19
vaccine mandate for health care workers Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per month, with 1 shift being on a weekend.
Responsibilities include assisting with:
Personal care and administering medications Social and recreational activities Helping to serve meals, setting dining tables, and cleaning the dining room Maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe environment
