Babysitter/Caregiver

We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring babysitter for our two children (5-year-old and 20-month-old) for a summer position. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing environment while engaging our children in age-appropriate activities.

June 8, 2026 End date: August 14, 2026 Two months of summer care Responsibilities Provide attentive care for both children, addressing their different needs Serve meals and snacks for the 5-year-old; assist with feeding for the 20-month old - We will prepare the meals Change diapers and assist with potty as needed Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for the 5-year-old Facilitate nap times on a routine schedule Maintain a safe environment at all times Light housekeeping related to childcare (cleaning up toys, washing bottles, etc.) Communicate effectively about the children's daily activities and any concerns Required Qualifications Previous experience caring for young children, including toddlers Reliable transportation - although all care will take place on our 75 acre property so you will not need to drive the kids anywhere Excellent references Strong communication skills Patience and enthusiasm for working with children Preferred Qualifications Experience with both toddlers and preschool-aged children Background in early childhood education Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and developmental milestones CPR and First Aid certification Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1 hour break Total of 35 hours per week Schedules may vary slightly week to week
