Caregiver for Elderly

Community Home Health Care is hiring Caregivers (HHAs or PCAs) to work with some of our elderly clients in the Monticello, NY area.

Paid Training Opportunities:

Paid PCA Certificate Training

• (5-6 business days). Paid ACD Test-Out Option
• (1-2 days): to qualify candidates must have at least three months of caregiving experience within the past three years.
• To be eligible for paid training, trainees must reside in Sullivan County and be able to travel to our Monticello office for classes. NEW! In-person or Hybrid PCA training available!
• Hybrid training will be 2 days in person and the rest will be taken from home, offering great flexibility!

Caregiver Responsibilities may include : Remind client to take medication Prepare and serve meals Assist client in moving/walking Assist client with eating, dressing grooming & bathing Keep simple records

HOURS:

PART-TIME / FULL-TIME / LIVE IN

Caregiver Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older Must be authorized to work in the U.S. No Experience necessary, just compassion! This is a great position for those that have experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Assistant (PA), Caregiver, or Customer Service Representative.
