Starting Pay:

$18.39 – $20.22 per hour for positions scheduled less than 24 hours per week and $20.00 – $22.00 per hour for positions scheduled 24 hours or more per week, depending on positional hours and medication certification. Additional earnings available through shift differentials. Position Overview The primary role of an MDSP is to promote skill development and serve as a positive role model, encouraging participation in recreational, community, and social activities. A typical day may include assisting with personal care, supporting daily routines, and accompanying individuals to appointments, community outings, or events. MDSPs are also responsible for assisting with the administration of medication.
