Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, nurturing environment while promoting growth, development, and well-being. Your enthusiasm for teaching, activity planning, and child supervision will help create positive experiences that empower those in your care. Duties Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to different age groups that promote childhood development and learning Supervise children during playtime, mealtime, naps, outings, and educational activities to ensure safety and positive behavior management Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws for any incidents or injuries Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care that encourages independence and participation Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations Experience Prior experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles Demonstrated experience in early childhood education or childhood development principles Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children and children with special needs Familiarity with classroom experience or youth programs teaching experience is highly valued Certification in first aid and CPR is required; experience applying these skills confidently in emergency situations Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
