About us Sky Blue Brokering is a small business helping individuals and families with developmental disabilities in serving multiple counties in the Taconic region area of NYS. We are professional, agile, and innovative. We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and out in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills, assistance with home-based activities, and providing emotional support. The ideal staff is willing to work with the client out in the community and within the home. Staff will help client be active in the community and support with his care at home. Staff must be communicative, reliable, consistent, outgoing, and postive. Days and times for the shifts are flexible. 16 - 20 hours/week are available. There may be occasional weeks where more additional shifts are available beyond 20 hours. It is preferred that staff have previous experience working with indivdiuals with physical diabilites, developmental disabilities, or has previously worked in a PCA role.
