This opening in for Sundays only at a woman's residences . Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our team during the Sunday shift. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional care and support to women with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities. Your energetic and proactive approach will ensure residents receive personalized assistance that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor vital signs regularly to track health status and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a clean dining environment in accordance with health standards Use proper lifting techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing light cleaning duties within residents' personal spaces and common areas Support residents' emotional well-being through compassionate communication, active listening, and social engagement Document care activities thoroughly in EMR systems and communicate effectively with team members about residents' needs Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and long-term care procedures Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for driving residents when necessary within community settings Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life Join us in creating a caring community where every individual feels valued! Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
