Job Description
Overview No experience necessary, paid training/orientation is available to candidates. Join our compassionate team as a Caring Person dedicated to supporting a young individual with disabilities in a nurturing and respectful environment. This rewarding role involves providing attentive care, assistance with daily activities, and fostering independence for a youth with unique needs. Working during Sunday and mornings from 7 am to noon, you will play a vital part in enhancing quality of life through personalized care and support. We are seeking energetic, patient, and detail-oriented individuals committed to making a positive difference every day. Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor and observe the individual's health status, including vital signs and overall well-being, while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations Meal Preparation Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and organizing living spaces Engage the individual in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive development, including working with individuals with autism or dementia care needs Experience Middle or high school diploma is required A car to transport the person is required (mileage reimbursement is avl)
