Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Infant Toddler Caregiver to provide high-quality care for young children in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety and well-being of infants and toddlers on a daily basis. This role requires experience in private home childcare, with a strong focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for young children during their formative years. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and toddlers throughout the day, ensuring their safety at all times. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development, including play, reading, and sensory experiences. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks suitable for infants and toddlers, following any specific dietary guidelines. Follow established routines for feeding, napping, diapering, and other daily care activities to promote consistency and comfort. Monitor developmental milestones and communicate observations to parents or guardians regularly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards. Administer basic first aid or emergency procedures if necessary while maintaining calmness and professionalism. Collaborate with parents or guardians to understand individual needs and preferences for each child. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations related to childcare in a private home setting. Requirements Proven experience in private home childcare or similar caregiving roles involving infants and toddlers. Knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Ability to provide nurturing, patient, and attentive care tailored to young children's needs. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children as well as parents or guardians. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire. Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality regarding family matters. Flexibility to adapt to the unique routines of each family while maintaining professionalism.
