Live-In Elder Care SupportBayside, Queens, NY | MondayFriday | Live-In with Private Room | $65,000$70,000About the RoleA warm, refined household in Bayside, Queens is seeking a dedicated Live-In Elder Care Support to provide attentive care and companionship to an elderly family member, alongside support with daily household upkeep. This is a Monday through Friday live-in position, with weekends fully off. Private, comfortable lodging is provided at a family member's home just up the street.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in elder care who takes genuine pride in supporting an older adult's comfort, dignity, and daily quality of life, while also helping maintain a well-run home.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated companionship and elder care support throughout the dayAssist with activities of daily living and general wellbeing check-insDrive to doctor's appointments, medical errands, and store runsAssist with daily chores and general upkeep of the homeSupport with meal preparation and daily routines as neededMonitor for changes in health, mood, or needs and communicate proactively with familyHelp maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable living environment for the elderRequirementsPrior experience in elder care, senior companion care, or home health support requiredCPR certification requiredCNA, HHA, or other elder care certifications highly desiredMust have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving regularlyPatient, compassionate, and attentive demeanor with elderly individualsComfortable living on-site MondayFriday (private room provided up the street)Excellent communication and time-management skillsLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Schedule & CompensationMondayFriday, live-in (weekends off)Private room provided at a nearby family residence
