Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a vital part of our team, helping clients maintain their quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional care. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, managing medication reminders and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Maintain detailed care plans and document all care provided while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Strong patient observation skills to monitor health status and recognize signs of distress or deterioration. Knowledge of medication, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures. Ability to operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling safely. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Experience working with residents who have Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs. Familiarity with home health practices, hospice care. Must have a clean Background, First Aid and CPR trained
Schedule:
Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday/Sunday 9a-1p , 4p-8p (20 hrs a week) $19 hourly if you are a
STNA/CNA

$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
