In Home Caregiver

As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support, ensuring each client receives the highest quality of care in a respectful and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report any concerns promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of patient observations, care provided, and any changes in condition to ensure continuity of care Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning living areas to promote hygiene and comfort Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Requirements Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is highly valued Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs requiring medical attention Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required; additional certifications in dementia care or hospice are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks necessary for patient transfer and mobility assistance Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and social workers Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for travel between client homes Join us in providing compassionate home health care that truly makes a difference!
