• Part-time Seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers to join our supportive and diverse care team in Bridge Park, Dublin for a family who participates in the PDP (parent directed program).

Shifts needed include weekends and overnights. Paid training will be provided. We are looking for team members who value consistency, communication, and reliability as continuity of care is important. We are especially interested in applicants seeking a dependable long-term position. Experience is welcomed but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Job position includes supporting a 41 yr old non-verbal male with cerebral palsy in his home. He lives with his parents and is a wheelchair user. He loves music, singing, is a foodie and loves interacting with others in his own way. Training will be provided by our current care team over 2 weeks as well as some online training courses that will need to be completed. First Aid & CPR certifications are required. Opportunities to complete this training will be provided. A background check and a drug test will be preformed.

Job Duties:

Perform activities of daily living and personal care Meal prep, Light Housekeeping, Stretching, Assisting with therapies Support client in local community Engage with client through reading, listening to music, chatting and watching TV Transportation in accessible van

Coverage Needed:

2 shifts per week with opportunity for additional (PRN also available)

Weekends:

8:30am-3:00pm 3:00pm-9:00pm

Every Day:

Overnights:

9:00pm

• 7:30am (M-F mornings) 9:00pm
• 8:30am (Sat & Sun mornings)

Requirements :

Compassionate and dependable High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to communicate in English (spoken and written). Ability to transfer client who is 5'4", 110lbs and able to partially weight bear Valid Ohio driver's license with proof of auto insurance Reliable attendance and punctuality This is a close-knit care team who work well together providing care. We work 1 on 1 and sometimes with another staff for 2 on 1 care. Our team spends time assisting with activities such as horseback riding, playing games, traveling to appointments, attending events and concerts, engaging in social outings, going for walks for coffee or ice cream, dining out and vacationing with his family. This is a highly interactive, community-based caregiving position.
