Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver for Seniors and Veterans, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. This paid position offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care to seniors and veterans in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, group homes, and nursing homes. Your role will be vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for our clients while fostering a warm and supportive environment. We are committed to recognizing your efforts with weekly pay and ongoing professional growth. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts or resident's if applicable. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary. Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through memory care techniques and patient observation. Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare standards and assist in updating personalized care plans regularly. Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes; familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued. Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and medication administration. Certified in CPR and First Aid; experience with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality at all times. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident's . Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, healthcare teams, and other caregivers. Compassionate attitude combined with patience when working with seniors, veterans, or individuals with autism or disabilities. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
