This is a flexible schedule, 15 hours a week, $17 an hour. Must have drivers license and car. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those they care for, whether in assisted living facilities, long-term care settings, or home health environments. This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional intelligence to foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and dietary needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Skills Proficient in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements. Experience in home health care or assisted living settings is preferred. Understanding of social work principles as they relate to caregiving. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or other special needs. Strong physical capability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility challenges. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
