Job Description
Responsibilities:
3-11pm position- Provide direct care to residents in a senior care facility, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed.
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs, behaviors, and overall well-being.
- Ensure that residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide comprehensive care to residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with systems and processes in senior care settings such as assisted living facilities or home health care is a plus.
Skills:
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing senior care facilities.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
