24 Hour Sleep-In Caregiver Monday through Friday

Job Overview Nova Leap Home Health is searching for a great personal caregiver/companion for elderly male residing in a Duncan Oklahoma neighborhood. Candidate must have great personal caregiving skills for assistance with ADLs, the ability to enhance quality of life for our client, and enjoy engaging with client and family. Candidate must be able to sleep over in client residence consistently every Monday through Saturday morning. Job Details Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfer/mobility support Assist with Independent Living Skills (ILs) such as light housekeeping, laundry, organization, meal preparation, medication reminders, and errands Provide social stimulation with cognitive and motor-stimulant activities Monitor and observe client health status, noting behavioral changes to inform care team Document daily care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare team/office regarding progress or concerns Care duties must be attended to 16 hours per day paid, with 8 hours of unpaid sleep time each day Caregiver must sleep over nightly, Monday through Friday night, in a designated shared sleeping spaced Caregiver will vacate the client residence timely so weekend caregiver can take over duties and shared sleep space Caregiver must have a separate residence to go to from Saturday mornings to Monday mornings Caregiver must appropriately report any time worked during 8-hour sleep time, so that pay can be added for this extra assistance (in rare instances that client needs help during overnight periods) Caregiver must request, in advance, time off for personal concerns (such as medical appointments, etc.) so that coverage can be staffed for the client For 16 hours per day of work time, caregiver will receive a salary of $240.00 per day ($1200.00 per week) Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Understand and follow HIPAA compliance Be able to set and keep personal boundaries with client Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in caregiving duties Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward client Reliable transportation to and from scheduled work Ability to transport client as needed, in their vehicle or yours, which includes: (1) Possessing a valid driver's license, (2) passing a Motor Vehicle Records verification, and (3) keeping on-going effective automobile insurance Pass all background and reference checks

work 7:00am to 11:00pm, sleep 11:00pm to 7:00am

Tuesday:

work 7:00am to 11:00pm, sleep 11:00pm to 7:00am

Wednesday:

work 7:00am to 11:00pm, sleep 11:00pm to 7:00am

Thursday:

work 7:00am to 11:00pm, sleep 11:00pm to 7:00am

Friday:

work 7:00am to 11:00pm, sleep 11:00pm to 7:00am • must depart residence when weekend caregiver arrives on Saturday a.m.

Pay:

$240.00 per day
