Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices to support mobility and prevent injury Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with health standards Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or long-term care Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize early signs of health deterioration or behavioral changes Certification in CPR and First Aid to respond effectively during emergencies Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Strong skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing procedures Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or Alzheimer's disease Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when required Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs Join us today to provide essential caregiving services that truly enhance lives.
